NOVELTY - Preparing graphene indoor air purifying material comprises dispersing graphite in concentrated nitric acid, ultrasonically dispersing, reflowing in a water bath, cooling, adding graphene dispersion to water, diluted washing, precipitating the graphene, removing the supernatant, repeatedly washing, adding hydrochloric acid solution, ultrasonically dispersing, refluxing in an oil bath, washing, drying, dissolving the activated inorganic graphene, phthalic acid and activated graphene in solvent, heating, crystallization reacting, cooling, filtering, washing the filter residue and drying. USE - The graphene indoor air purifying material is useful for absorbing and decomposing harmful gas and peculiar smell (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The graphene indoor air purifying material has antibacterial, sterilization and antistatic function, low preparation cost and small energy consumption; and is environmentally-friendly. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparing graphene indoor air purifying material comprises (a) dispersing 1-10 g graphite in 10-30 ml concentrated nitric acid (60-70 wt.%), ultrasonically dispersing for 5-10 minutes and reflowing in a water bath at 50-100 degrees C for 24-48 hours, (b) cooling, adding graphene dispersion to 40-60 ml water, diluted washing, precipitating the graphene, removing the supernatant and repeatedly washing the graphene until neutral, (c) adding the graphene to 10-30 ml hydrochloric acid solution (4-7 mol/l), ultrasonically dispersing for 5-10 minutes, refluxing in an oil bath at 100-150 degrees C for 10-24 hours, (d) cooling, repeatedly washing until the graphene becomes neutral, placing the graphene in a vacuum oven, drying at 50-100 degrees C for 24-48 hours, to obtain activated graphene, (e) dissolving the activated inorganic graphene, phthalic acid and activated graphene in a solvent, to obtain the mixed solution, (f) adding the mixed solution into a stainless steel reaction kettle with polytetrafluoroethylene lining, sealing in a synthetic oven, heating at 70-220 degrees C, crystallization reacting for 5-120 hours and naturally cooling, (g) filtering the reaction liquid, washing the filter residue, vacuum drying at 30-150 degrees C for 5-10 hours. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for graphene indoor air purifying material prepared by above method.
