NOVELTY - A cathode slurry comprises a cathode active material including a silicon-based composite material, an additive which includes lithium nitrate and a solvent. USE - Cathode slurry for cathode sheet of lithium-ion soft-pack battery cell used in lithium-ion battery pack for automobiles, motorcycles and bicycles (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The silicon-based composite material has high energy density, contains lithium nitrate having a higher reduction potential, easy to reduce and decompose, the decomposition product is stably coated on the surface of the cathode active material, and the cathode active material has passivation effect. The slurry effectively inhibits the continuous secondary reaction between the electrolyte and the cathode active material, such as electrochemical reaction, so as to improve the cycle performance of the lithium ion soft power core, so that the cycle life is long. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for lithium-ion soft-pack battery cell, which comprises a cathode sheet, anode sheet, an isolation film which is placed between the cathode sheet and the anode sheet, and a packaging bag which is made of an aluminum-plastic film composite material, and the cathode sheet, the anode sheet and the bare cell made of the isolation film are placed in the packaging bag.
