NOVELTY - Preparation of few-layer graphene powder involves (1) adding, stirring and pre-dispersing deionized water and inorganic intercalation agent including nano fumed silica, ultrafine barium sulfate, nano calcium carbonate, nano titanium dioxide, nano iron oxide, nano zirconium oxide, nano zinc oxide, spherical alumina, carbon black, carbon nanotube, and shearing at high speed to obtain an inorganic intercalation liquid, (2) adding expanded graphite and ethylene glycol to the inorganic intercalation liquid, and performing stirring pre-dispersion, high-speed shearing, and high-pressure stripping to obtain a few-layer graphene nano-dispersion, (3) concentrating few-layer graphene nano dispersion, drying, and pulverizing by centrifugation or pressure filtration to obtain a few-layer graphene powder. USE - Preparation of few-layer graphene powder used in conductive materials or lead-acid batteries (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enables to prepare few-layer graphene powder that does not cause residue in the graphene, so as to ensure the quality of graphene, at the same time, intercalation agent is inserted into the graphene sheet layer, and can inhibit the agglomeration of graphene.
