NOVELTY - A bitumen-based composite material is produced by fabricating bitumen base combination containing carbon nanotube ingredient by increasing temperature of solid bitumen to appropriate temperature to obtain molten bitumen, slowly introducing graphene ingredient into molten bitumen, and uniformly stirring by mechanical agitator at a low speed to form mixture of bitumen and carbon nanotubes using a high speed mechanical agitator with an appropriate time and speed to form graphene-containing bitumen-based composite material with uniform dispersion of graphene ingredient in the bitumen. USE - Production of bitumen-based composite material for enhancing solar heat absorption capacity. ADVANTAGE - The bituminous material has appropriate physico-mechanical properties and is as effective in absorbing heat as the black color which has the highest light absorption among the color bands. The combination of the graphene material uniformly dispersed in the substrate improves the thermal conductivity and solar heat absorption efficiency.
