NOVELTY - The collector has an electroplating copper layer arranged on two sides of a conductive polymer substrate layer. The conductive polymer substrate layer is provided conductive material and a polymer substrate, where mass ratio of the conductive material to high molecular base material is about in 0.01-0.1:1, the conductive material is selected from carbon black, carbon nano-tube graphene copper, nickel and silver and the high molecular base material is selected from polypropylene, polyethylene glycol terephthalate, polyethylene polyimide, polyethylene naphthalate, polyphenylene sulfide and polystyrene. USE - Composite current collector for use in a lithium battery field. ADVANTAGE - The collector can directly form the electroplating copper layer on a surface by setting the conductive polymer substrate layer so as to save step of firstly evaporating or magnetic control sputtering for pre-processing the electroplating copper layer on a surface of the conductive polymer substrate layer, thus saving process flow, so that improves production efficiency and ensure processing uniformity. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for a composite current collector manufacturing method.
