NOVELTY - A bimodal sensor comprises an elastic substrate (1), a conductive material (3) and a magnetic sensitive material (2). The elastic substrate has a column, and the center of the column is pierced with a magnetic sensitive material. The elastic substrate is not conductive. The conductive material is attached to the surface of the elastic substrate. USE - Bimodal sensor used for measuring strain and magnetic field intensity. ADVANTAGE - The bimodal sensor is capable of measuring strain and magnetic field intensity at the same time without interfering with each other, and is prepared by simple and efficient manner. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of the bimodal sensor, which involves: (A) coating and depositing conductive materials on the surface of the elastic substrate; (B) coating elastic polymer materials on the surface of magnetic sensitive materials; (C) passing coated magnetic sensitive material through the elastic substrate; (D) depositing conductive material on the elastic substrate; and (E) heating and curing the elastic polymer material, so that the magnetic sensitive material is fixed at the center of the elastic substrate. DESCRIPTION OF DRAWING(S) - The drawing shows a schematic view of the bimodal sensor. Elastic substrate (1) Magnetic sensitive material (2) Conductive material (3)
