▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - Inhibition of corrosion of structure or component having surface involves coating (i) a portion of the surface with a coating suspension comprising multiple graphene sheets coated with a thin film of an anti-corrosive pigment or sacrificial metal having a thickness of 0.5 nm to 1 mu m, and a resin binder dispersed or dissolved in a liquid medium, and partially removing (ii) the liquid medium from the coating suspension upon completion of the coating process to form a protective coating layer on the surface. USE - Inhibition of corrosion of structure or component having surface. Uses include but are not limited to marine and off-shore structure, bridge, container, refinery facility, power-plant facility, storage tank, crane, windmill, airport facility, petrochemical facility, etc. ADVANTAGE - The method enables simple, economical and efficient inhibition of corrosion of structure or component having surface. The structure or component coated with the coating suspension has improved strength, corrosion resistance, chemical protection property, abrasion resistance, and durability. DESCRIPTION OF DRAWING(S) - The drawing shows a flowchart of production of oxidized graphene sheets that entails chemical oxidation/intercalation, rinsing, and high-temperature exfoliation procedures.
