NOVELTY - A graphene oxide/barium oxalate-containing composite electrorheological fluid comprises graphene oxide/barium oxalate composite nano particles prepared by chemical co-precipitation method as a dispersed phase, and dimethyl silicone oil as a continuous phase, in a mass ratio of 4:1. USE - Graphene oxide/barium oxalate-containing composite electrorheological fluid (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The graphene oxide/barium oxalate-containing composite electrorheological fluid has excellent rheological property and anti-settling property, and yield stress improved by 3 times, at electric field gradient of 3 kV/mm.
