NOVELTY - The method involves synthesizing graphene oxide from graphite. The predetermined quantities of graphite and sodium nitrate are mixed. The predetermined quantity of concentrated sulfuric acid is added under constant stirring. The predetermined quantity of potassium permanganate is added after an hour under a controlled temperature. The mixture is stirred. The mixture is stirred at prescribed temperature and period. The solution is diluted with water under vigorous stirring. The mixture is treated with hydrogen peroxide. The mixture is washed with hydrochloric acid and water respectively. The mixture is filtered. The graphene oxide obtained from filtration is dried. An acetate substrate with graphene oxide is laser-scribed to produce graphene. The laser-scribed graphene is placed on a Kapton tape. The laser-scribed graphene is sprayed with zinc chloride by spray pyrolysis to deposit zinc oxide. The super capacitors are produced using the zinc oxide-deposited graphene. USE - Method of producing super capacitor with improved capacitance. ADVANTAGE - The method of producing a super capacitor with improved capacitance produces a super capacitor having an increased capacitance and without making capacitance much heavier than regular batteries.
