NOVELTY - The preparation of self assembled graphene composite material, involves obtaining polystyrene sulfonate-reduced graphene oxide (PSS-RGO) dispersion, obtaining polyethylenimine-reduced graphene oxide (PEI-RGO) dispersion, taking polyethylene terephthalate matrix, carrying out corona activation treatment, immersing in PEI solution for activation to obtain active matrix, immersing resulting activate matrix in PSS-RGO dispersion, lotion, PEI-RGO dispersion and washing liquid, and taking out one layer of barrier coating of graphene composite material. USE - Preparation of self assembled graphene composite material used as gas barrier material (claimed) used in pharmaceutical and electronic display application. ADVANTAGE - The method enables preparation of self assembled graphene composite material with high optical and mechanical properties and high barrier properties. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - The preparation of self assembled graphene composite material, involves mixing graphene oxide dispersion liquid and sodium polystyrene sulfonate solution, heating at 80-95 degrees C, adding hydrazine hydrate, reacting, filtering to obtain polystyrene sulfonate modified graphene, dispersing with water to obtain polystyrene sulfonate-reduced graphene oxide (PSS-RGO) dispersion, mixing the graphene oxide dispersion with polyethylenimine (PEI) solution, heating at 80-95 degrees C for reaction, filtering to obtain PEI modified graphene, dispersing with water to obtain polyethylenimine-reduced graphene oxide (PEI-RGO) dispersion, taking polyethylene terephthalate matrix, carrying out corona activation treatment, immersing in PEI solution for activation to obtain active matrix, sequentially immersing resulting activate matrix in PSS-RGO dispersion, lotion, PEI-RGO dispersion and washing liquid, and taking out one layer of barrier coating of graphene composite material. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for usage of self assembled graphene composite material as gas barrier material.
