▎ 摘  要

NOVELTY - A functionalized graphene (810) comprises graphene, metal dispersed throughout graphene in which metal contains greater than or equal to 1 of platinum, rhodium, palladium, silver, gold, osmium, nickel, iridium, manganese, cobalt, alloys, oxides or mixtures, and 1st functional group which is covalently bonded to graphene and contains greater than or equal to 1 of sulfonate, carboxylate, tert.-amine of alkyl, aryl, or combinations, polybenzimidazole (PBI), poly(ethylene oxide) (PEO), polyphenylene oxide (PPO), polyaniline, or mixtures. USE - A functionalized graphene for cathode, anode, membrane electrode assembly, fuel cell and three-dimensional functionalized graphene structure (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - Catalytic performance and fuel utilization are improved. Surface migration or agglomeration is prevented. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for: (1) cathode comprising functionalized graphene (810); (2) membrane electrode assembly comprising cathode; (3) fuel cell comprising cathode; (4) three-dimensional functionalized graphene structure comprising functionalized graphene; (5) manufacture of functionalized graphene which involves functionalizing graphene with 1st functional group and loading metal on to graphene in which metal contains greater than or equal to 1 of platinum, rhodium, palladium, silver, gold, osmium, nickel, iridium, manganese, cobalt, alloys, oxides or mixtures; and (6) anode comprising functionalized graphene.
