NOVELTY - Coating comprises 80-100 parts mass polymer resin, 10-20 parts mass organic solvent, 20-30 parts mass curing agent, 1-10 parts mass silicone resin microspheres and 5-10 parts mass carbon materials comprising graphene, graphene oxide, aminated graphene, conductive carbon powder and/or carbon nanotubes, where the average particle size of the carbon material is 30-500 nm. USE - The coating is useful in preventing wax formation in crude oil pipeline. ADVANTAGE - The coating has excellent electrical and thermal conductivity, and inhibits wax precipitation, and solves the problem of wax deposition. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) a method for preparing the coating, involving mixing the above-mentioned components to obtain the coating; and (2) a method for preventing wax formation in crude oil pipelines, involving coating the above-mentioned coating on an inner wall surface of a crude oil transportation pipeline, and curing to form a coating on the inner wall surface, and applying 6-60 V voltage to both ends of the crude oil pipeline.
