NOVELTY - Graphene quantum dots are purified by taking graphene quantum dot dispersion, adding didodecyl dimethyl ammonium bromide as cationic surfactant at mass ratio of 1:10, sonicating for 5-10 minutes, adjusting pH value to 2, adding hexane or chloroform as organic extracting agents at mass ratio of 1:1, ultrasonically agitating for 5 minutes, removing aqueous phase, extracting twice or thrice, combining organic extracts, and recovering organic extractant. USE - Method for purifying graphene quantum dots (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method has high recycling rate.
