NOVELTY - The lubricating oil additive comprises 0.1-1.5 pts. wt. thiadiazole derivative, 0.5-2.5 pts. wt. graphene, 1-10 pts. wt. mercaptan, 5-15 pts. wt. isopropanol, 1-5 pts. wt. 30 wt.% formaldehyde solution, 0.1-0.8 pt. wt. rare earth chloride, 3-6 pts. wt. alkaline liquid, and 1-5 pts. wt. phenol substitute. USE - Additive for lubricating oil (claimed) of machine. ADVANTAGE - The lubricating oil additive has excellent protecting and repairing function, and forms protection film on machine inner wall surface, with excellent graphene dispersing degree, and high adsorption strength with metal surface. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) preparation of lubricating oil additive, which involves mixing thiadiazole derivative, graphene, isopropanol and mercaptan, ultrasonically treating for 10-30 minutes, adding formaldehyde solution, rare earth chloride, alkaline liquid and phenol substitute, mixing for 5-10 minutes at 300-600 rpm, heating at 50-90 degrees C, leaving stand for 1-5 hours, ultrasonically treating for 30-50 minutes, heat preserving, and cooling to room temperature; and (2) lubricating oil.
