NOVELTY - Preparing photoinduced hydrophobic film comprises taking graphite powder, preparing graphite oxide by Hummers oxidation, ultrasonically dispersing to obtain graphene oxide colloidal solution, adjusting the concentration of graphene oxide in the colloidal solution to 1-10 mg/ml, preparing graphene oxide film on a solid surface by a spin coating machine, and processing by ultraviolet light with an illumination time of 0.5-5 hours. USE - The method is useful for preparing photoinduced hydrophobic film. ADVANTAGE - The method: utilizes ultraviolet light, which eliminates the reduction of graphene oxide, thus controls the quantity of oxygen-containing group on the graphene oxide surface and controls the hydrophobicity of solid surface of graphene oxide.
