NOVELTY - A silicon-containing negative electrode slurry comprises silicon-containing material, conductive agent, binder, modified additive and dispersant. USE - Silicon-containing slurry used for preparing negative electrode sheet of lithium-ion battery (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The addition of the modified additive provides sufficient buffer space for the volume expansion of the silicon-containing negative electrode material in the charging and discharging processes, improves the dispersibility of each component in the slurry, reduces the resistance of the negative electrode, increases the wettability of the negative electrode and the electrolyte, and plays a role in protecting the interface of the negative electrode in the circulating process. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) preparation of the negative electrode slurry; (2) Use of the negative electrode slurry for preparing negative electrode sheet of lithium-ion battery which involves coating the slurry on copper foil.
