NOVELTY - Organic light emitting diode device comprises an anode, a hole transporting layer, and a hole injection layer formed between the anode and the hole transporting layer. The hole injection layer comprises partially reduced graphene oxide. The highest occupied molecular orbital energy level of the hole injection layer is 30% of the difference from the intermediate value of difference of highest occupied molecular orbital energy level of the hole transporting layer and the Fermi level of the anode. USE - Used as organic light emitting diode device. ADVANTAGE - The device has improved efficiency of greater than or equal to 20% (claimed), properly adjusts relative energy levels of adjacent layers, and is flexible.
