NOVELTY - Manufacture of a graphene composite fiber involves (i) preparing a solution (S1) by dispersing graphene in a dispersion solvent, preparing a solution (S2) by adding a polymer to the solution (S1), preparing graphene master chips by solidifying the solution (S2) and cutting, and preparing a graphene composite fiber by spinning the graphene master chips and the polymer with a fiber spinning device. The dispersing solvent comprises ethylene glycol. In the solid-state polymerization process, the water-repellent agent has a weight average molecular weight of 2868 and a polydispersity index (PDI) of 1.2, added water and an emulsifier when supplying the water repellent agent. The polymer comprises one chosen from polyester, nylon 6, nylon 66, polypropylene, and polyethylene. USE - Manufacture of graphene composite fiber (claimed). Uses included but are not limited to transparent electrodes, flexible displays, composite reinforcement materials, filters, biosensors, and integrated circuit packaging materials. ADVANTAGE - The method provides graphene composite fiber capable of expressing the characteristics of graphene to the extent of adding a small amount of graphene to a polymer and capable of mass production.
