NOVELTY - The preparation method of the high oil-retention polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) fiber involves: uniformly mixing 85.0-99.9 wt.% a compound solvent, 0.1-10.0 wt.% PPS resin and 0-5.0 wt.% a hydrophobic modifier, heating to 250-260 ℃ to obtain a homogeneous modified solution, and then cooling to 210-225 ℃; immersing the PPS fiber in the solution after heat treatment, and then pouring the PPS fiber into a coagulating bath for cooling; and carrying out solvent extraction, drying, opening, impurity removal, auxiliary agent spraying and carding. The compound solvent comprises a benign solvent and a poor solvent in a mass ratio of 1:1-9:1. The benign solvent comprises benzophenone, benzoin, caprolactam, diphenyl sulfone, 1-chloronaphthalene or diphenyl ether. The poor solvent comprises dibutyl phthalate, dibutyl sebacate, dioctyl phthalate, dioctyl sebacate, dibutyl isophthalate, dioctyl isophthalate or glycerol. USE - Preparation method of the high oil-retention PPS fiber. ADVANTAGE - The ultra-fine PPS fiber mesh structure forms a homogeneous sheath-core fiber structure on the surface of the PPS fiber, which is stable and can resist any action except mechanical force and other external forces, and can further improve the oil retention property of the fiber. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - The preparation method of the high oil-retention polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) fiber involves: uniformly mixing 85.0-99.9 wt.% a compound solvent, 0.1-10.0 wt.% polyphenylene sulfide resin and 0-5.0 wt.% a hydrophobic modifier, heating to 250-260 ℃ to obtain a homogeneous modified solution, and then cooling to 210-225 ℃; immersing the polyphenylene sulfide fiber in the solution after heat treatment, and then pouring the PPS fiber into a coagulating bath for cooling; and carrying out solvent extraction, drying, opening, impurity removal, auxiliary agent spraying and carding. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for the polyphenylene sulfide fiber with high oil retention property.
