NOVELTY - Method for producing graphite, involves heat-treating a raw material comprising graphene oxide (A) at 2400 degrees C or high, where the graphene oxide (A) comprises carbon and oxygen in a mass ratio of 0.1-20. USE - The method is useful for producing graphite as thermal radiation materials, such as a semiconductor element mounted in electronic apparatuses, such as a computer and a smartphone, and heat-emitting component. ADVANTAGE - The graphite has excellent heat resistance, chemical-resistance, high thermal conductivity, high electrical conductivity, strength, electric-conduction characteristic, thermal diffusivity and external appearance.
