NOVELTY - Preparing nano-graphene oxide modified asphalt and evaluating anti-aging performance comprises (i) ultrasonically dispersing nano graphene oxide aqueous dispersion in ultrasonic cleaner for 30 minutes, and peeling agglomerated nano graphene oxide layer to obtain nano graphene oxide dispersion liquid, (ii) placing 100 g matrix asphalt in beaker, heating at 155 degrees C to melt matrix asphalt, slowly adding nano graphene oxide dispersion liquid into melted asphalt, continuously stirring with glass rod, avoiding asphalt from spilling and generating bubble, and uniformly dispersing nano graphene oxide in asphalt, when heat of melting asphalt evaporates water in dispersion liquid, and (iii) using rotating film oven aging test method to simulate short-term thermal oxidative aging of asphalt. USE - The method is useful for preparing nano-graphene oxide modified asphalt and evaluating anti-aging performance. ADVANTAGE - The method enables preparation of nano-graphene oxide-modified asphalt having excellent anti-aging property and durability.
