NOVELTY - A magnetic nitrogen-doped reduced graphene/phosphate visible photocatalyst is claimed. USE - Magnetic nitrogen-doped reduced graphene/phosphate visible photocatalyst is used for removing 2,4-dichlorophenol in water (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The magnetic nitrogen-doped reduced graphene/phosphate visible photocatalyst has high magnetization strength, strong electroconductivity, high catalytic activity, stable physical property and chemical property, and excellent removal effect on difficult-to-degrade organic matter. The magnetic nitrogen-doped reduced graphene/phosphate visible photocatalyst is obtained by simple, economical, easy-to-control, and environmentally-friendly process. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of the magnetic nitrogen-doped reduced graphene/phosphate visible photocatalyst, which involves dispersing a nitrogen-doped reduced graphene oxide powder in distilled water in a mass ratio of (0.08-0.1):100, ultrasonically treating to obtain a nitrogen-doped reduced graphene dispersion, slowly adding ferric nitrate nonahydrate and copper nitrate trihydrate solutions under stirring condition, completely dissolving the metal salt, heating the reaction mixture to 80 degrees C, dripping aqueous ammonia until the pH is 10, continuously stirring the reaction mixture for 3-5 hours to form a precipitate, washing the precipitate repeatedly with water and drying to obtain a nitrogen-doped reduced graphene oxide/copper ferrite complex, dispersing the complex in deionized water in a mass ratio of 0.1:(150-200), dripping a nitrate solution to the dispersion at a volume ratio of nitrate solution and deionized water of (12-16):(150-200), continuously stirring the mixture for 6 hours, adding a disodium hydrogen phosphate solution to the reaction system at a volume ratio of disodium hydrogen phosphate solution and nitrate aqueous solution of (10-15):(12-16), stirring for 6 hours, centrifuging, collecting the final product, washing, and drying overnight in vacuum. The volume ratio of ferric nitrate nonahydrate solution, copper nitrate trihydrate solution, and distilled water is (50-80):(50-80):100.
