▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - Producing carbon foam material involves heating a homogeneous mixture of a coal material having a particle size of between 10 mesh and 400 mesh and one additional agent in a microwave heating apparatus. The homogeneous mixture comprises coal material and one additional agent comprises coal material present in an amount of 20-75 wt.% based on the total weight of the mixture, and another additional agent present in an amount of 25-80 wt.% based on the total weight of the mixture. The additional agent is capable of absorbing microwave radiation. USE - Composite material comprises calcined carbon foam. ADVANTAGE - The method enables to produce carbon foam material, which allows for microwave-assisted calcination of the disclosed carbon foams since the conductive carbon compounds allow the compositions to reach the desired calcination temperature, and reduce the capital costs and operating costs associated with carbon foam production while also creating new market opportunities for production of value-added products incorporating carbon foam. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for: (1) Method for calcining a carbon foam material involves heating the carbon foam material to a temperature of from 900-1350?oC for a period of 10 seconds to 3 hours, where calcining imparts electrical conductivity and mechanical stability to the carbon foam material; (2) Composite material comprises the calcined carbon foam.
