NOVELTY - Metal air battery 100 comprises a body 110 defined by a metal anode 120 and a cathode 130, a first separator layer arranged on the metal anode, a second separator layer arranged on the cathode, and multiple beads arranged in the body and confines a liquid electrolyte 142. The beads are configured to release liquid electrolyte into interior portions of battery in response to a compression of the cathode into body of the battery. USE - Metal air battery. ADVANTAGE - The metal air battery is selectively activated by a user, and allows ambient air to enter cathode and interior portions of body through multiple macroporous pathways.
