NOVELTY - Polyvinyl alcohol/graphene oxide composite nanofiber membrane preparation involves using graphite powder, potassium permanganate and concentrated sulfuric acid as main raw materials, and then preparing graphene oxide by modified Hummers method. A polyvinyl alcohol/graphene oxide composite is prepared by covalent bonding. A polyvinyl alcohol/graphene oxide composite nanofiber membrane is prepared by electro-spinning. The polyvinyl alcohol/graphene oxide composite nanofiber membrane adsorbs and removes phenolic pollutants in water for recycling. USE - Method for preparing polyvinyl alcohol/graphene oxide composite nanofiber membrane. ADVANTAGE - The method prepares the polyvinyl alcohol/graphene oxide composite nanofiber membrane in a simple, cost-effective and eco-friendly manner with improved adsorption capacity and maintained good adsorption capacity.
