NOVELTY - A method of manufacturing iron-containing graphene oxide composites which can effectively absorb chlorpheniramine is disclosed. The method comprises: providing graphene oxides and an iron-containing chloride solution containing FeCl3 and FeCl2; suspending graphene oxides in the iron-containing chloride solution to obtain a suspension, wherein the weight ratio between graphene oxides and FeCl3 of the iron-containing chloride solution is between 1: 2.5 and 1: 10, wherein the molar ratio between FeCl3 and FeCl2 of the iron-containing chloride solution is 2: 1; chemically co-precipitating the suspension at 83-87 DEG C, pH 10-10.5 for 45-50 minutes, forming FeeO4 by FeCl3 and FeCl2 and manufacturing the iron-containing graphene oxide composites by FeCl3 and graphene oxides.
