▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - Composite membrane comprises titanium dioxide nanofiber and/or mixture of titanium dioxide solution coated polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) fiber and functionalized graphene oxide and carbon nanotube, where the titanium dioxide solution is prepared by sol-gel method and the functionalized graphene oxide and carbon nanotube comprises one or more metal oxides e.g. iron oxide (Fe3O4). USE - The composite membrane is useful in water treatment as optical catalyst to decompose the organic matter and remove the heavy metal e.g. arsenic, lead and mercury. ADVANTAGE - The composite membrane exhibits high mechanical strength and excellent permeability, removes heavy metal with high efficiency and has highly maintained activity of the optical catalyst. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for method for preparing the composite membrane for the water treatment.
