NOVELTY - Preparing ternary precursor coated by conductive material comprises pre-processing conductive material with a surfactant, mixing with ternary precursor in liquid phase, and drying to obtain the finished product, where the surfactant comprises polyethylene wax. USE - The method is useful for preparing ternary precursor coated by conductive material. ADVANTAGE - The method: pre-treats the conductive material by using a specific type of surfactant; improves the conductivity of precursor of anode material, and conductivity of subsequent prepared anode material; inhibits further phase transformation; reduces the generation of cracks; and improves the cycle performance and specific capacity of the anode material. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are also included for: a ternary precursor coated by conductive material prepared by the above-mentioned method; a ternary material prepared by coating a ternary precursor with lithium and sintering conductive material; and a lithium-ion battery.
