NOVELTY - Anode comprises a current collector; and an anode active material layer arranged on at least one surface of the current collector. The anode active material layer contains anode active material and additive. The additive includes reduced graphene oxide and niobium-tungsten oxide. The additive is the presence of niobium-tungsten oxide particles in reduced graphene oxide. The anode active material includes sulfur-carbon composite. The sulfur-carbon composite includes porous carbon material and sulfur on at least some of the inner and outer surfaces of the porous carbon material. The anode active material layer further comprises binder or conductive material. USE - The anode is useful for lithium secondary battery, preferably lithium-sulfur battery (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The anode adsorbs lithium polysulfide, accelerates reaction to suppress elution of lithium polysulfide, and has improved structure, excellent discharge capacity and lifespan characteristics.
