NOVELTY - Preparation of sealing optical fiber and 65-manganese steel with graphene oxide modified lead diffusion glass powder involves (1) adding 45-75 wt.% bismuth(III) oxide, 15-40 wt.% boric acid, 1-15 wt.% zinc oxide, 10-30 wt.% phosphorus pentoxide, 2-5 wt.% silicon dioxide, 1-10 wt.% sodium carbonate, 1-3 wt.% aluminum oxide, 2-7 wt.% tin oxide, 5-15 wt.% tellurium oxide, 1-5 wt.% cupric oxide, 1-3 wt.% ferric oxide and 0-10 wt.% lithium, calcium, cesium, strontium and/or barium, pre-grinding, smelting, quenching and drying, obtaining lead-free low-melting glass, (2) mixing the lead-free low-melting glass with nano-lead oxide powder, adding ultrapure water, obtaining glass powder coated with nano lead oxide, (3) pouring the glass powder coated with nano lead oxide into ceramic crucible, heating, naturally cooling to obtain annealed glass powder, (4) adding the annealed glass powder and modified dispersant to absolute ethanol, stirring, drying, and crushing. USE - Preparation for sealing optical fiber and 65 manganese steel with graphene oxide modified lead diffusion glass powder. ADVANTAGE - The method produces product with excellent network structure, bonding effect with optical fibers and 65 manganese steel, low sealing temperature (400-450degrees Celsius), excellent thermal conductivity, corrosion resistance, oxidation resistance, thermal stability, thermal expansion coefficient and other special properties. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparation for sealing optical fiber and 65 manganese steel with graphene oxide modified lead diffusion glass powder involves (1) adding 45-75 wt.% bismuth(III) oxide, 15-40 wt.% boric acid, 1-15 wt.% zinc oxide, 10-30 wt.% phosphorus pentoxide, 2-5 wt.% silicon dioxide, 1-10 wt.% sodium carbonate, 1-3 wt.% aluminum oxide, 2-7 wt.% tin oxide, 5-15 wt.% tellurium oxide, 1-5 wt.% cupric oxide, 1-3 wt.% ferric oxide and 0-10 wt.% lithium, calcium, cesium, strontium and/or barium, pre-grinding in sample-making pulverizer to make it evenly mixed, pouring the premix into a ceramic crucible and placed in a high temperature electric furnace, increasing the high-temperature electric furnace from room temperature to 1100-1300degrees Celsius at 5-10degrees Celsius/minute, placing the ceramic crucible in high-temperature electric furnace for smelting for 30-60 minutes, pouring the clear glass liquid into deionized water for quenching and drying, obtaining lead-free low-melting glass, (2) mixing the lead-free low-melting glass with nano-lead oxide powder and ball milling, sieving through a 600-800 mesh screen, adding ultrapure water, mixing at 5000-8000 rpm, performing differential centrifugation, removing nano lead oxide that is not coated with glass powder, drying, obtaining glass powder coated with nano lead oxide, (3) pouring the glass powder coated with nano lead oxide into a ceramic crucible and placing in high temperature electric furnace, increasing the high-temperature electric furnace from room temperature to 300-350degreesC at 5-10degreesC/minute, heating to 480-520degreesC at 2-5degreesC/minute for 30-50 minutes, cooling to 200-250degreesC at a rate of 4-6degreesC/minute, naturally cooling to obtain annealed glass powder, (4) adding the annealed glass powder and modified dispersant to absolute ethanol, stirring at 50-75degreesC until the absolute ethanol evaporates to dryness to obtain modified glass powder, ultrasonically dispersing graphene oxide and polyvinylpyrrolidone in absolute ethanol, adding modified glass powder, stirring at 50-75degreesC to uniformly mix graphene oxide and modified glass powder, drying, and crushing.
