NOVELTY - Modified electrode has electrode. The working area of the electrode is covered with a composite material layer. The composite material layer is a high molecular polymer film layer containing silver platinum alloy nanoparticle and reduced graphene oxide. USE - Modified electrode used for detecting content of formaldehyde in test liquid by electrochemical detection process (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The modified electrode is capable of quickly and accurately detecting the content of formaldehyde in liquid the measuring method is simple and fast, it does not need complex instrument operation and pre-processing process and cost-effective, the modified electrode is disposable, the detection time is fast, only 100 seconds can finish the test, it has good sensitivity, and it can meet the requirement of formaldehyde content test in beverage. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for preparing modified electrode, which involves mixing silver-platinum alloy nanoparticle, reduced graphene oxide and high-molecular polymer or a high-molecular polymer solution in an organic solvent to obtain slurry, coating the obtained slurry on the working area of the electrode and curing to obtain a modified electrode.
