NOVELTY - A nickel sulfate sheet/graphene composite material comprises nano-scale nickel sulfate and graphene, where the nano-scale nickel sulfate is in sheet-shaped structure. USE - Nickel sulfate sheet/graphene composite material for use as lithium ion battery cathode material (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The cathode material can be prepared in one-step low-temperature preparation process in a simple, cost-effective, short circle and energy-saving manner. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for a method for preparing nickel sulfate sheet/graphene composite material, which involves dissolving salt containing nickel or a hydrate of nickel salt in de-ionized water or organic solvent to obtain a nickel ion solution, adding graphite oxide, obtaining mixed solution after fully stirring and dispersing, adding oxidized graphite alkene to the ion solution, and mixing solution of sulfur-containing compound and a salt containing nickel, adding surfactant trisodium citrate or citric acid monohydrate of sodium, sealing and raising temperature at 160-240 degrees C for 12-48 hours and cooling, collecting the solid product, repeatedly washing and drying to obtain finished product.
