▎ 摘  要

NOVELTY - The material has a substrate (12) for carrying a metal layer (14). A copper-nanocarbon composite layer (16) is provided on the metal layer. The copper-nanocarbon composite layer comprises a nanocarbon tangle that is provided with carbon nanotubes and/or graphene sheets. The nanocarbon tangle is embedded within a copper phase (20) and distributed throughout the copper-nanocarbon composite layer. Thickness of the metal layer is in range from 0.5 pm to 50 pm. A nickel interface (22) is provided between the metal layer and the nanocarbon composite layer. USE - Lightning strike protection material for composite structures e.g. aircraft skins. ADVANTAGE - The material has improves structural performance, material strength and stiffness, and reduces aircraft weight.
