NOVELTY - The electron gyroscope has an interferometer array (10) that is provided with several rings (12). The rings are formed of graphene. USE - Electron gyroscope for use in inertial navigation, positioning and stabilization application. Uses include but are not limited to cars, airplanes, helicopters, boats, gun turrets, radio antenna, spacecraft, video game controllers, toys and mobile phones. ADVANTAGE - The ultra-compact gyroscope having smaller dimension and weight is obtained. The gyroscope is directly provided on the microchips and the signal from the gyro is interfaced with additional electrical circuits on the same microchip. The large scale production of lithographically defined graphene nanostructures is possible by using the reproducible and controllable fabrication techniques.
