NOVELTY - Preparing negative electrode material comprising (i) dispersing a silicon source, a dispersant, and a conductive agent in an organic solvent to obtain a mixture, and pulverizing the mixture to obtain a nano -active material silicon source suspension, (ii) introducing granulating agent to the nano-silicon source suspension for primary granulation, and drying after primary granulation to obtain a first precursor, (iii) mixing first precursor with binder, performing secondary granulation to obtain a second precursor, (iv) placing second precursor in a carbonization furnace, and introducing inert gas into the carbonization furnace to heat the second precursor, calcining to obtain a third precursor, and pulverizing the third precursor, (v) coating third precursor pulverized with an organic carbon source to obtain a fourth precursor, and pulverizing the fourth precursor, pulverizing and classifying. USE - The method is useful for preparing negative electrode material for lithium-ion battery. ADVANTAGE - The cathode material of lithium-ion battery has high capacity, excellent cycle performance, small volume expansion, satisfy the requirement of the commercial client to the long cycle. The method is simple, economical, and is environmentally friendly.
