NOVELTY - Preparation of modified lithium-iron phosphate, involves mixing lithium-iron phosphate, nitrogen-containing graphene, and an organic solvent, and heating after optionally drying. USE - Preparation of modified lithium-iron phosphate for use in anode material of lithium ion batteries (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enables preparation of modified lithium-iron phosphate, which provides lithium ion batteries which can be quickly charged and discharged at high current rate, and effectively discharged in low-temperature environment. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) modified lithium-iron phosphate; and (2) anode material comprising an active material comprising the modified lithium-iron phosphate.
