NOVELTY - Metal-reduced graphene oxide (RGO)/lithium borohydride high hydrogen content composite hydrogen storage material comprises lithium borohydride material and metal-RGO material, where RGO material has high surface area and pore density, metal is uniformly distributed on the surface, interlayer and pores of RGO material, and low content of metal-RGO material and lithium borohydride material are mixed uniformly. USE - The metal-reduced graphene oxide/lithium borohydride high hydrogen content composite hydrogen storage material is useful as a catalyst for low temperature hydrogen desorption. ADVANTAGE - The composite hydrogen storage material: can achieve hydrogen desorption under lithium borohydride reduction even if the content of Me-RGO catalyst is 3 wt.%; improves hydrogen desorption capacity; and maintains hydrogen absorption and desorption cycles. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing the metal-reduced graphene oxide (RGO)/lithium borohydride high hydrogen content composite hydrogen storage material, comprising preparing RGO by chemical oxidation-reduction method, uniformly loading a metal on the surface, interlayer and pores of RGO by chemical method, using solid phase ball milling process, organic liquid phase ball milling process or melt infiltration method for uniformly dispersing metal-RGO in lithium borohydride.
