NOVELTY - A graphene/nylon 6 nanocomposite material comprises nylon 6 and a monolayer graphene grafted with nylon 6. The transverse size of the monolayer graphene grafted with nylon 6 is greater than 3 mu m. The ratio of the mass of graphene to total mass of nylon 6 is 0.01-0.5:100. USE - Graphene/nylon 6 nanocomposite material (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The graphene/nylon 6 nanocomposite material has high performance and quality, excellent mechanical properties, high-temperature resistance, UV resistance, aging resistance, dispersibility and machinability, and can be prepared without changing existing nylon 6 polymerization equipment in a simple and effective manner. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation method of graphene/nylon 6 nanocomposite material, which involves (a) adding 0.01-0.5 part mass modified monolayer graphene and 1-10 parts mass deionized water to 100 parts mass caprolactam melt and uniformly stirring the mixture at 80 degrees C and high speed of 300-500 rpm to form dispersion liquid, and (b) heating the dispersion liquid in a polycondensation reactor at 250-270 degrees C and pressure of 0.5-1 MPa under the protection of nitrogen for 3 hours, reacting under vacuum condition for 4 hours to obtain polymer melt and carrying out water-cooling granulation on the polymer melt to obtain graphene/nylon 6 nanocomposite material.
