NOVELTY - Method for preparing graphene-thermoplastic polyurethane self-healing composite material, involves (a) uniformly dispersing 0.5-5 wt.% graphene oxide in solvent to obtain a dispersion liquid, (b) reducing the graphene oxide using a reducing agent to obtain a reduced dispersion liquid, (c) uniformly dispersing the thermoplastic polyurethane in the reduced dispersion to obtain a mixed dispersion, and (d) drying the mixed dispersion to remove residual solvent to obtain the composite material, where the first self-repair rate of the graphene-thermoplastic polyurethane self-healing composite material is greater than or equal to 99% and the number of self-healing is greater than or equal to 10 times. USE - The method is useful for preparing graphene-thermoplastic polyurethane self-healing composite material (claimed).
