NOVELTY - Modified emulsified asphalt, comprises 50-75 pts. wt. modified asphalt base liquid,0.5-4 pts. wt. emulsifier, 0.1-1 pts. wt. performance regulator, 0.1-1 pts. wt. stabilizer, and water (balance amount). The modified asphalt base liquid includes 100 pts. wt. matrix asphalt, 0.1-2 pts. wt. modifier, 0.2-5 pts. wt. terpene resin, and 0.2-1 pts. wt. auxiliary agent. USE - The modified emulsified asphalt is useful for aqueous drilling fluids (claimed), preferably high temperature and high-pressure deep wells. ADVANTAGE - The modified emulsified asphalt has high softening point, high solid content and uniform and stable dispersion. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing modified emulsified asphalt, comprising (i) mixing and dissolving performance regulator, stabilizer and water, then adding emulsifier, and adjusting the pH value, (ii) preparing modified asphalt base liquid, and (iii) mixing the modified asphalt base liquid with the prepared soap liquid to continuously emulsify to obtain final product.
