NOVELTY - Functionalized graphene-waterborne epoxy resin anticorrosive material comprises functionalized graphene, epoxy resin, curing agent, curing accelerator and defoamer in a mass ratio of (10-30):100:(45-55):(0.2-1):(0.5-1). USE - The anticorrosive material is useful in epoxy resin application. ADVANTAGE - The anticorrosive material promotes the transformation of lipophilic epoxy resin to hydrophilicity, improves the barrier properties of epoxy resin to air and water, inhibits the corrosion reaction of iron-based metal anodes in seawater, and exhibits excellent chemical and electrochemical corrosion resistance. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for preparing the functionalized graphene-waterborne epoxy resin anticorrosive material, involving (a) adding graphene oxide to distilled water solvent, placing the graphene oxide in constant-temperature ultrasonic dispersion instrument, ultrasonically dispersing, adding polyvinyl alcohol, heating at 90-100 degrees C, performing ultrasonic reflux reaction for 5-10 hours, cooling, removing solvent, washing and drying to obtain polyvinyl alcohol grafted graphene, (b) adding polyvinyl alcohol grafted graphene to dimethyl sulfoxide solvent, uniformly ultrasonically dispersing, adding sulfuric acid solution for adjusting the pH of solution to 2-4, adding DL-serine, heating at 100-130 degrees C, reacting for 12-24 hours, cooling, filtering, washing and drying to obtain amphiphilic serine-polyvinyl alcohol grafted graphene, (c) adding serine-polyvinyl alcohol grafted graphene to dimethyl sulfoxide solvent, uniformly stirring, adding phosphoric acid and catalyst urea, heating at 120-140 degrees C, reacting for 5-10 hours, cooling, filtering, washing and drying to obtain phosphorylated serine-polyvinyl alcohol grafted graphene, which is functionalized graphene, and (d) adding functionalized graphene to distilled water solvent, ultrasonically dispersing, adding epoxy resin, performing high-speed emulsification, adding anhydride curing agent, amine curing accelerator and defoamer, uniformly stirring, and pouring emulsion to mold for thermal curing crosslinking to obtain anticorrosive material.
