NOVELTY - Preparing graphene modified polyurethane composite material comprises (1) adding acid and sodium salt to the container, cooling, adding graphite powder and oxidant, stirring, heating up the reaction, adding deionized water, adding hydrogen peroxide solution, filtering, washing the product with hydrochloric acid until the filtrate is free of acid radicals, washing to neutral, centrifuging, drying, and freezing to obtain graphene oxide, (2) dispersing graphene oxide ultrasonically in deionized water, adding reducing agent and hydrochloric acid, stirring, heating, removing excess reducing agent, washing, filtering, drying and grinding to obtain modified graphene oxide, and (3) ultrasonically dispersing modified graphene oxide in polyurethane to obtain graphene-polyurethane dispersion, providing graphene-polyurethane dispersion, adding photoinitiator, stirring to obtain mixed solution, pouring the mixed solution into the reactor, allowing to stand, heating, and solidifying. USE - The method is useful for preparing graphene modified polyurethane composite material. ADVANTAGE - The method: is simple; and improves strength. The composite material has excellent water resistance and erosion resistance.
