NOVELTY - Environmentally-friendly chromium-removing ceramic water reducing agent comprises 40-50 pts. wt. polycarboxylate mother liquor, 5-10 pts. wt. grinding aid, 5-10 pts. wt. plasticizer, and 1-5 pts. wt. reinforcing agent. The reinforcing agent is formed by mixing modified graphene and modified sodium alginate in a mass ratio of 1:(2-5). The preparation of the modified sodium alginate comprises dissolving 1.5-3 pts. wt. polyethyleneimine in 25-50 pts. wt. water to obtain aqueous polyethyleneimine; (ii) adding 2-4 pts. wt. sodium alginate to the aqueous polyethyleneimine, and reacting at 55-70degrees Celsius for 4-8 hours; (iii) adding continuously 0.5-2.5 pts. wt. glutaraldehyde, and mixing at 35-45degreesC for 1-3 hours to obtain a sodium alginate reaction solution; and (iv) adding 0.25-1.5 pts. wt. ferric nitrate to the sodium alginate reaction solution, reacting at 25-30degreesC for 6-18 hours, and drying at 40-60degreesC. USE - Environmentally-friendly chromium-removing ceramic water reducing agent is useful: for optimizing the fluidity; and for removing mortar of hexavalent chromium. ADVANTAGE - The agent has rational formulation, generates good synergistic effect, effectively improves the water reducing rate of the ceramic mortar, grinding performance and plasticity, and reduces the potential hazard of hexavalent chromium in ceramic mortar. The polycarboxylate mother liquor is prepared in aqueous solution environment at a relatively low free radical polymerization, then adding modified sodium alginate to prepare green environment friendly chromium removing ceramic water removing agent.
