NOVELTY - Photoreducing graphene oxide comprises obtaining a composition comprising graphene oxide and a photoinitiator, and irradiating the composition with UV radiation for reducing the graphene oxide. USE - The method is useful for photoreducing graphene oxide (claimed) to graphene. ADVANTAGE - The photoreduction method is versatile, is carried out in solution, solid-state and even in polymer composites, and is facile, environment-friendly and cost-effective. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are also included for: (1) a device comprising the photoreduced composition; and (2) the composition produced from the method as above per se.
