The graphene surface is loaded with uniform particle size distribution of nickel and palladium nanoparticles. USE - Composite material used for catalyst, hydrogen storage material, battery material and supercapacitor. ADVANTAGE - The composite material has easy to obtain raw materials, low cost, simple and easy to operate preparation method, and excellent catalytic properties. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of composite material comprising preparing graphene-supported nickel nanoparticles powder, adding into palladium source solution and organic solvent mixture, mixing, adjusting pH to 10-14, preferably 10-12, refluxing to 110-140 degrees C, preferably 120-130 degrees C for 5-7 hours, suction filtering, washing solid product, and drying to 80-90 degrees C for 6-8 hours.
