NOVELTY - The structure has a hollow box body (100) whose two ends are formed with an opening. An inner wall of the hollow box body is orderly provided with an explosion-proof layer, a heat absorbing layer and a graphene rubber layer from an outer side to an inner side. The heat absorbing layer is provided with two layers of polymer substrate layers and an expandable graphite layer that is arranged between two adjacent layers of the polymer substrate layers, where a preparation raw material of a polymer matrix layer comprises porous polysulfone material and heat absorbing particles. The heat-absorbing particles are selected from at least one of ammonium oxalate particles, sodium silicate particles, lauric acid particles and palmitic acid particles. USE - Fire-proof and explosion-proof protection structure for use in a middle joint of a high-voltage cable in a social electric power system. ADVANTAGE - The structure has a better protection effect, reasonable design and better fireproof and explosion-resistant performance so as to effectively protect the high-voltage cable middle-joint. The structure can bear and block impact when explosion occurs in an inner side or an outer side of the box body. The polymer matrix layer can absorb heat generated by burning or explosion, and prevent development of combustion or explosion deterioration. The graphene rubber layer is made of elastic material, so that the structure can cover the middle joint, thus effectively preventing electric spark generated in the inner side of the box body to burn.
