NOVELTY - Electrode paste composition comprises 88-98 pts. wt. active material, 0.5-9 pts. wt. conductive material, 1-9 pts. wt. main binder, 0.1-2 pts. wt. auxiliary binder and 0.1-2 pts. wt. dispersing auxiliary agent, where the auxiliary binder is prepared by at least one of diisocyanate, diol and cyclic anhydride through polymerization reaction. USE - The electrode paste composition is useful in electrode slurry, and pole piece for secondary battery e.g. lithium ion secondary battery in electronic device and electric vehicle. ADVANTAGE - The electrode paste composition has good slurry stability and dispersibility, provides electrode pole piece with good flexibility, high surface density, high energy density and high-capacity retention rate, improves internal resistance of the secondary battery with good internal resistance and circulating performance of capacity retention. The electrode pole pieces formed using the electrode paste compositions has good flexibility and crack resistance, and high surface area density.
