NOVELTY - A carbon loaded copper phthalocyanine (CuPc/C) fuel cell catalyst comprises carbon material and copper phthalocyanine at mass ratio of 0.01:0.99-0.99:0.01. USE - Carbon loaded copper phthalocyanine fuel cell catalyst used for preparing membrane electrode assembly for fuel cells including fuel cell using methanol, ethanol, propanol, glycerol or dimethyl ether direct liquid alkaline fuel cell, hydrogen-air alkaline fuel cell, zinc air fuel cell or microbial fuel cell (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The catalyst has simple preparation with easy operation and low cost, and is suitable for industrial production. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for: (1) preparation of the fuel cell catalyst, comprising dissolving carbon material and copper phthalocyanine in solvent, grinding, fully volatilizing solvent and drying to obtain catalyst precursor, and performing roasting reduction treatment on the catalyst precursor for 2-4 hours at 600-1100 degrees C at rate of 5-25 degrees C under protection of inert gas atmosphere; and (2) preparation of a membrane electrode assembly for fuel cell, comprising dispersing CuPc/C into isopropanol solution and performing ultrasonic treatment to obtain catalyst ink solution, transferring the catalyst ink solution to a glassy carbon electrode, washing with bonding agent mixed solution of methanol and Nafion (RTM: perfluoro-sulfonic acid polymer), and naturally drying.
