NOVELTY - The method involves washing and drying an elastic textile band, soaking in a solution of carbon-based nanomaterial, adsorbing the carbon-based nanomaterial from the solution onto the elastic textile band, and reducing the carbon-based nanomaterials elastic textile band to form a reduced graphene oxide. The reduced graphene oxide creates a smart electronic fabric. The smart electronic fabric is coupled with electrical connections to fabricate the smart electronic fabric sensor. USE - Method for a process for fabrication of smart electronic fabric sensor (claimed) for monitoring physical activity of the wearer. ADVANTAGE - The smart fabric sensor provides a high signal to noise ratio, with improved stability and reliability. The sensor is a highly sensitive, inexpensive, lightweight, scalable to a large area and highly reliable and stable. The sensor can be easily integrated into a garment or used as independently as a conductive smart electronic fabric.
