NOVELTY - A film comprises alumina inorganic membrane support. A hydroxide-rich graphene oxide (HGO) layer or a hydroxide-rich reduction of graphene oxide (HRGO) layer is formed on the alumina inorganic membrane support. USE - Film for removing salt (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The film has improved ion removal rate. The absorbed contaminant is easily removed. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) manufacture of film for removing salt; and (2) desalination method.
